What are the different types of fields available? (Version 1.1)

Types of fields available after initial setup:

1. Text

For this example, we will select the "Text" option from the TYPE drop-down menu...

For this example, we will select the "Non Formatted" option in the Format drop-down menu...

Allows any text, numbers, or special characters.

  1. Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.
  2. Custom SQL - This allows you to create this field as a mashup field, which means you can use custom SQL to manipulate this field.
  3. Default Value - This allows you to set a default value in this field, it can be changed, but if nothing is entered it will stay the default value.
  4. Index Field - This allows you to set this field as an indexed field in the database for faster loading.

8.  Disable on Export - This allows you to set this field to not show data on export.

1.2. URL

For this example, we will select the "URL" option in the Format drop-down menu...

The "Custom SQL" drop-down gives you the options of "Yes" or "No"...

This allows you to create this field as a mashup field, which means you can use custom SQL to manipulate this field.

For this example of the HTML Type format, we selected "No" for the Custom SQL...

The same fields are available if you were to select "Yes" from the Custom SQL drop-down menu...
