What are the different types of tables available?
1. Standard Table
A standard table is created in the system by the user using the Table creation wizard. This creates a blank table that data can be inserted in.
2. From Import
A Table from Import is created from an imported file. The file determines the field names and inserts the data into the grid.
3.1. Horizontal Mashup
A Horizontal Mashup is created by merging two tables upon a common field. The data is then joined by the common field, mashing the other fields of the table into one row. The table created this way is a 'Read Only' table and can not be edited directly from the grid view.
3.2. Vertical Mashup
A Vertical Mashup is created by merging two tables by the columns you choose. The data is then added to the same columns instead of being added to the row. The table created this way is a 'Read Only' table and can not be edited directly from the grid view.
4. From Connection
A Table From Connection is a table built off of the data received from a connector. These connectors are broken down by category and can be searched.
5. Custom SQL
A Custom SQL is created using a SQL statement. The statement can be made using a basic wizard or written by a SQL developer and pasted in.
