What are the different types of fields available?

2. Text

2.1. Non Formatted

Allows any text, numbers, or special characters.

  1. Field Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.
  2. Custom SQL - This allows you to create this field as a mashup field, which means you can use custom SQL to manipulate this field.
  3. Default Value - This allows you to set a default value in this field, it can be changed, but if nothing is entered it will stay the default value.
  4. Index Field - This allows you to set this field as an indexed field in the database for faster loading.
  5. Disable on Export - This allows you to set this field to not show data on export.
Non Formatted

2.2. URL

Allows any URL, default text length is 1024, but you can adjust that value.

  1. Field Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.
  2. Custom SQL - This allows you to create this field as a mashup field, which means you can use custom SQL to manipulate this field.

2.3. Short URL

Allows you to create a shortened URL.

  4. Disable on Export - This allows you to set this field to not show data on export.
Short URL

2.4. Account #

Allows you to enter an account number that uses an alpha numeric format.

  1. Field Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.

  3. Default Value - This allows you to set a default value in this field, it can be changed, but if nothing is entered it will stay the default value.

Date

5.2. Date/Time

Allows you to enter a date in YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss format.

This option will allow you to enter predefined values that are search-able.

  1. Field Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.
  2. Link - This allows you to link this field to another drop down field in the table.
  3. Value Type - This allows you to choose how the values are added.
  4. Value(s) - These are the values you want the drop down predefined with.
  5. Default Value - This allows you to set a default value in this field, it can be changed, but if nothing is entered it will stay the default value.
  6. Index Field - This allows you to set this field as an indexed field in the database for faster loading.
  7. Disable on Export - This allows you to set this field to not show data on export.
Combo Box

6.2. Combo Box Auto Update

This option will allow you to enter predefined values that are search-able, but will also allow new values to be added when they are entered into the table.

  1. Field Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.
  2. Link - This allows you to link this field to another drop down field in the table.
  3. Value Type - This allows you to choose how the values are added.
  4. Value(s) - These are the values you want the drop down predefined with.
  5. Default Value - This allows you to set a default value in this field, it can be changed, but if nothing is entered it will stay the default value.
  6. Index Field - This allows you to set this field as an indexed field in the database for faster loading.
  7. Disable on Export - This allows you to set this field to not show data on export.
Combo Box Auto Update

This option will allow you to enter predefined values that will populate a typical style drop down.

  1. Field Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.
  2. Link - This allows you to link this field to another drop down field in the table.
  3. Value Type - This allows you to choose how the values are added.
  4. Value(s) - These are the values you want the drop down predefined with.
  5. Default Value - This allows you to set a default value in this field, it can be changed, but if nothing is entered it will stay the default value.
  6. Index Field - This allows you to set this field as an indexed field in the database for faster loading.
  7. Disable on Export - This allows you to set this field to not show data on export.
Drop Down

6.4. Multiple Drop Down

This option will allow you to enter predefined values that will populate a typical style drop down where you can choose multiple entries.

  1. Field Length - This allows you to set field length, be sure to make it long enough that it will cover you data entries.
  2. Max Selections - This allows you to set how many selections the user can make.
  3. Linked - This allows you to link this drop down to another drop down.
  4. Value Type - This allows you to choose how the values are added.
  5. Value(s) - These are the values you want the drop down predefined with.
  6. Default Value - This allows you to set a default value in this field, it can be changed, but if nothing is entered it will stay the default value.
  7. Index Field - This allows you to set this field as an indexed field in the database for faster loading.
  8. Disable on Export - This allows you to set this field to not show data on export.
Multiple Drop Down

6.5. Radio

This option allows you to create a drop down that will appear as a radial button select on the forms.
