How do I export to a Connector?

1. Click the Export button on the toolbar.

Select the Tools option sandwich.

2. Creating your Data Export.

  1. Choose which table the export will be for.
  2. Choose either an existing export or New Export to create a new one.
  3. Name the Export.
  4. Select which view this export will use.
  5. Select the delivery method, for this one you will want File.
  6. Choose the File type.
  7. Choose what you want the file name to be.
  8. Select the Connection.

Hit Next to move to the next step. Depending on the Connection the next steps will change. This will be covered in a later section. We will move on to the common options.

Creating your Data Export.

3. Under the Delivery options, choose if you want any Compression and Encryption.

Under the Delivery options, choose if you want any Compression, Encryption, and what you wish the File to be named.

4. Set Advanced Options.

  1. Headers are the text that will appear above your data.
  2. Footers are the text that will appear under your data.
  3. Limit allows you to limit the number of rows being exported.
  4. Custom Split allows you to set what the files split parameter is.  (Default it is |. Only required if your columns contain a | in them.  If so, please designate a unique value not included in your columns.)
  5. Custom Line Ending allows you to set what defines a new line in the file.
  6. Custom File Extension allows you to set what the extension will be.
  7. Records per file allows you to limit how many records get put in the each file. This will create multiple files if the export has more than this value.
  8. Dropdown Display{Value} allows you to set whether any key value pairs export as actual values or the displayed content.
Under the Advanced options, enter if you would like a Header, Footer, if you would like to Limit the number of records, or if you wish to define a custom split.

5. Select if you would like to share this export with anyone.

6. Click Save to save the export or Run to export immediately.
