What are the Business Process System Tool Action Types?

1. Action

An action will change the values of the fields depending on the criteria selected.  If Always is selected then the values will always be changed.

2. Call URL

User enters base URL. Enters any number of Params to send & selects a field to use as the value for each. Selects a request method.

3. Custom PHP

This will run a custom PHP script when the criteria has been met.  This script is written and entered by the user.  Contact your PHP administrator if you are not familiar with PHP code.

4. Custom SQL

This will run a custom SQL script when the criteria has been met.  This script is written and entered by the user.  Contact your SQL administrator if you are not familiar with SQL code.

5. Delete Row(s)

This will delete any rows that meet the criteria.  WARNING - If you have the criteria set to Always then it will delete ALL rows in the table.

6. Deduplication

This will delete any duplicate records dependent on the criteria set.

7. Email

This sends an email when the criteria has been met.  This only send one email no matter how many times the criteria is met in the table.  If set to Always then it will always send an email.

8. Exit

This stops the process if it meets the criteria.

9. From Table

This imports data from another table in the system.

10. Notification

This sends out a notification when the criteria is met.  This can be set to only send to certain Users/User Groups or to all Users of the product.  

11. Refresh Mashup(s)

This refreshes the Mashup Field(s) in the table when the criteria is met.

12. Refresh Custom Field(s)

This refreshes the Custom Field(s) in the table when the criteria is met.

13. Refresh Connector Table

This refreshes the data in a table.

14. Run Business Process

This runs another Business Process when the criteria is met.  This allows you to link multiple processes that need to be done in a specific order with one process.

15. Run Export

This runs the selected Export when the criteria is met.

16. Transform

16.1. Trim Whitespace

Removes whitespace before and after the data.

16.2. ALL CAPS

Capitalizes the data in the selected row.  Can only be used on text fields.

16.3. ALL LOWER

Puts the field to all lowercase.  Can only be used on a text field.

16.4. Clean Data

Removes a range of bad characters or null characters decided on by the user.

17. Truncate Table

This Truncates the table if the criteria is met.  WARNING - If set to Always then this will always truncate the table.
